Peak Performance Buoyancy

PPB speciality is usually held on one day, but can be spread over two days if required.
If you want to fine-tune your buoyancy and soar over reefs, extend bottom time by reducing air consumption and prolong the life of your dive equipment, the Peak Performance Buoyancy[PPB] Specialty course is for you.
During your PPB course, you’ll use PADI’s Basic Weighting Guidelines to determine the correct amount of weight. You’ll then practice the fundamentals of peak performance buoyancy, including the buoyancy check, fine-tuning buoyancy underwater, weight positioning, streamlining and visualisation.
The PADI PPB certification counts toward your Master Scuba Diver rating and is run over 2 open water dives with your instructor.

What’s next?
Once you’ve become a PPB Diver you may wish to take part in DJL’s Advanced Open Water course to show you other forms of diving, now that you can hover like a fish. If a certain type of diving, such as Underwater Navigation or Night diving, is of interest then maybe focus in on one of our other Specialty courses, but if you’ve been bitten by the bug then maybe you would like to join our Master Scuba Diver Program, the peak of recreational Diving.
